キングがブルーノート音源の日本での販売権を獲得したことを記念して発売されたシリーズ。1978年の「ブルーノート名盤セレクション150」シリーズに先駆けて、20タイトルの名盤がセレクトされ、限定発売された。
国立大学芸術工学府に勤務していた叔父のレコードになります。ジャケット、盤質は良好で一度も針を落としていない状態です。
